From 6 PM until 9PM Lady Ceara gans McAirne will be teaching–
“Quilted” Fabric and Styrofoam Holiday Ornaments. Learn how to fold and pin small squares (2 – 3″) of fabric to a styrofoam ball to make a lovely “Amish Star” Christmas ornament (or for any other holiday!!). These ornaments can be made to hang, attached to a wreath, or set in a bowl. Limited amount of styrofoam balls, and holiday fabric will be available free of charge. You will need to bring; scissors, coordinating fabrics and ribbon of your choice (precut into 2-3″ squares a plus), pkg of flat headed straight pins (75+). This fabric folding and tacking into place can be adapted for many other uses including wall hangings, pot holders, and pine cone/ dragon egg ornaments. Come enjoy learning and new technique and visiting with friends…..
