We are still looking for items to display at our 26 October demo at the Persen House in uptown Kingston. The chain-mail shirt was a big hit at the last demo, so anything that shows how people in the SCA can produce some high quality things would be greatly appreciated! Tomorrow is the O+ demo at the Old Dutch Church outside on the sidewalk! We will be there from 9 am until the crowd dies down. If you can help, please do! There will be a Queen’s Favor embroidery/making workshop on Wednesday, 9 October, 2019 at the Port Ewen Reformed Church hall at 6pm. If you already have embroidery skills, come share them with beginners. All are invited. All are most welcome.
The SCA display at Persen House has been postponed due to a last minute addition to their schedule. That is, the Burning of Kingston (which was not supposed to occur this year) has suddenly been scheduled for 19 October, and they need to have the display space reflect the British invading!
