Shire of Nordenhal at the NFLXpo23 to be held on Saturday, October 21 from 12 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Newburgh Free Library, 124 Grand Street, Newburgh NY 12550.
The event is open to all ages; however, as a public library event, a primary audience is families with children under age 18. Please keep that in mind as you design your display, exhibit and sales materials. — NFL
Set up will begin at 10 am.

Re: Safety at NFLXpo
I wrote to the Librarian and asked about people’s safety concerns. Here is her response –
I appreciate the concern expressed about safety in Newburgh as we tend to get a lot of bad press and not much good press. While I cannot guarantee that nothing will ever happen here, I can say the Library is a well-loved location and respected institution within the City. I have worked here for 22 years and have never felt “unsafe” in our immediate neighborhood. Like many urban areas, a few blocks can make a huge difference. We also have security staff employed by the Library, and there will be many extra staff working that day to provide additional assistance as needed. The City of Newburgh Police Department is also only 2 blocks from our location and are very responsive to any emergency call.
